Greenhouse Gas Reporting
Greenhouse Gas Reporting has mandated that Quoted Companies declare their annual Greenhouse Gas emissions in their Strategic Report since 2013. Companies must report against 2 Scopes with the 3rd Scope being voluntary:
Scope 1
Direct Greenhouse Gas emissions from boilers, furnaces, vehicles etc.
Scope 2
Indirect Greenhouse Gas emissions from electricity purchased and consumed by the company
Scope 3
Other indirect Greenhouse Gas emissions for example fuel consumed during commercial flights
